The Grant's Bend Railroad Tunnels
Ryland Heights, Kentucky
Built in 1853 and 1912 the Grant’s Bend Railroad Tunnels are still in use after 167 years of service.
The tunnel built in 1853 is the oldest major piece of transit infrastructure in the Greater Cincinnati area beating out the Roebling Suspension Bridge by 12 years.
The City of Ryland Heights is home to the Twin Train Tunnels.
